she loved it ( the Baby Bentley ) – we managed to keep it as a surprise from her (she
thought she was going in my car) - she said it was one of the high spots
of the day.
So thanks ever so much.
Thursday 6th December- the coldest day so far in South Yorkshire.
I woke up to a very thick frost - it was freezing !
I had the pleasure of driving a bride and her father to her ceremony venue at The Stables in Doncaster for this midweek wedding.
The drive was really pleasant, a lovely sunny day driving from Dore to Doncaster. The Baby Bentley Wedding Car was super cosy and warm with love songs playing on the CD.
I pulled up to the brides address, she looked absolutely stunning in a cream strapless tulle dress with a long train and was not expecting a wedding car to take her to her venue. It was a total surprise booked by her uncle, she was thrilled and emotional.
From there it was a short drive to The Stables.
There was a red carpet waiting for her and her two very pretty little bridesmaids in ballerina length cream dresses, so cute.
It really is a pleasure driving my brides on their wedding day xx
My very best wishes to Leanne and her new husband.
The Lord God said, 'It is not good for the man to be alone. I
will make a helper suitable for him'...and while he was sleeping, he
took one of the man's ribs and closed up the place with flesh.
Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out
of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, 'This is now
bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called 'woman,' for
she was taken out of man.' For this reason a man will leave his father
and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh. (NIV)
Here we see the first wedding. We can conclude from this account in
Genesis that marriage is God's idea, designed and instituted by the
Creator. In these verses we also discover that at the heart of God's
design for marriage is companionship and intimacy.
